Challenge in, venture out: how the Studio model works

· Studio Ventures

Corporate innovation usually fails in one of two places: the problem never gets a budget, or the budget never finds a builder. The Studio model fixes both ends.

It starts with a funded challenge

Corporates post innovation challenges on matchmaking.dealflow.eu — real problems with real budgets attached. That single constraint filters out innovation theatre: if a challenge is worth posting, it’s worth funding.

Match — or build

Most challenges find their match: a startup that already solves the problem takes the engagement. But some challenges are too specific, too early, or too close to the corporate’s core to match anyone. That’s where the Studio steps in — we build the solution ourselves, with a senior engineering team and AI-accelerated delivery.

Venture out

What we build doesn’t end as a project deliverable. It launches as a new venture, a joint venture, or a spin-in/spin-out — with the corporate pre-financing bare build costs in exchange for equity or user discounts. Incentives stay aligned: we only win if the venture works, and we keep operating it in production after launch.

If you have a challenge that hasn’t found its builder, post it or talk to us.
